The honest bit (warranty & limits)
De-Googling gets you off Google's tracking and locks your phone down — it won't dodge digital ID or hide you from your mobile network, and installing GrapheneOS voids the manufacturer's warranty. GrapheneOS is free, open-source software by the GrapheneOS project; we're not affiliated.
In plain terms: de-Googling is excellent at getting you out of commercial surveillance and hardening your device. It is not an invisibility cloak and not a legal exemption — it won't dodge digital ID, beat website age checks, or hide you from your mobile network. We'll always match the tool to the threat and tell you the trade-offs before you spend anything.
The free guide
The guide is provided free, for general information, and as-is. We work hard to keep it accurate, but you follow it at your own risk — and installing a custom operating system such as GrapheneOS voids your phone's manufacturer warranty. If you'd rather not take that risk yourself, that's exactly what our setup service is for.
Our services
We offer to set up a Pixel you already own, or to source and set up one for you. Full terms (pricing, delivery, returns and your statutory cancellation rights) are confirmed at the point of order. Any prices shown on this site are current indicative prices and may change. Nothing here forms a contract until we've confirmed your order.
GrapheneOS
GrapheneOS is free, open-source software made by the GrapheneOS project. We're not affiliated with them — we just rate it. Their software is provided under its own licence and terms.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or our liability for anything that can't lawfully be excluded. Beyond that, we aren't liable for loss arising from your own changes to your device, or from using the free guide.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to its courts.
